A meta proposal: An AI proposals submission page

TC39 is difficult for non-delegates to contribute to, so non-delegates with
really useful ideas may tend to be stuck and give up. I've come up with a
solution that won't overload either the delegates or the TC39 infrastructure.

We could establish an open proposals page (open to the entire world) that
would avoid overload of TC39 delegates by using an AI bot to classify the
proposal: if the proposal is not well documented, it could be refused with a
polite message. If the proposal sounds like an existing proposal,
the duplicate could be merged with the existing proposal, or simply counted
as being similar.

If the AI bot determines that the proposal is a valid proposal (by whatever
criteria are useful) for a particular subgroup or individual, it could be
forwarded in private.

Such a page's filtering criteria could be modified or updated quickly and
easily, by editing its AI instructions, in English.

In summary, I have proposed an open AI-filtered proposals page that would catch
more proposals and ensure they have a minimum level of relevance and value.

It feels like this forum already accomplishes what you're saying. You can post your idea on here, and other humans will vet it and let you know if it has merit, needs refinement, is confusing, etc.

Plenty of people on here enjoy discussing people's ideas, and it's a learning experience for all parties involved, and it does seem like at least some delegates are reading most everything on here. As long as the delegates are not complaining about the number of ideas being presented on here, I'm not sure what benefit an AI screening would have.

People are always welcome to talk to an AI of their choice to get feedback on their ideas before posting on here too.
