I wrote a survey at https://tiny.cc/js-decimal-survey to get free-form, qualitative information about possible needs for a decimal type, which we're discussing at TC39 as well at https://github.com/tc39/proposal-decimal . I'd like to distribute it to more people, maybe through a JS newsletter, but if possible, it would be great to refine the survey based on your feedback first.
I went through the survey and I found it to be really quite well done. I don't know if you got the answers you were looking for though. Do you need any help going through the data?
